Cherry-Anne Matriz is a progressive social development professional and an experienced advocacy
campaigner who has worked in the Social Development sector and Social Movements in the
Philippines and Southeast Asia for more than a decade. Her experience revolves around, but
not limited to - learning and training development, project management, political and social
campaigns, community development, civil society organizing and networking, and
international work.
Always striving for excellence and working hard to inspire others are her core values at
work. She is a learning advocate, gender equality campaigner, and local volunteer for
environmental justice advocacies in Manila. Currently, she is taking an open online course
on International Women's Health and Human Rights in Coursera sponsored by Stanford
University.
